2022 Nissan Sentra Price, Features, and Performance
The 2022 Nissan Sentra is a perfect fit for the driver looking for an affordable, compact car with dynamic styling, and excellent safety features.
This may not be the fastest or most exciting compact car on the market, but this is an excellent choice for the quality-conscious owner.
There are eight Sentra models available:
- S, from $19,598
- S Plus from $21,298
- SV from $22,698
- SV Special Edition from $23,998
- SR with manual transmission from $23,898
- SR with CVT from $24,998
- SR Midnight Edition from $25,598
- SR Premium from $27,098.
The 2022 Sentra has a 2.0L four-cylinder gas-powered engine making 149hp coupled to an automatic CVT (continuously variable transmission) in all models except the S and SR, which have a manual transmission.
For the safety-conscious driver, the Sentra has independent rear suspension, a choice of wheel sizes from 16" to 18", and an outstanding braking system that will bring the car to a standstill in 51.8 metres from a speed of 112km/hr.
The Sentra’s fuel figures compare very well with other small sedans, at 8.6 L/100km in the city and 6.0 L/100km on the highway.
The Sentra has an attractive interior. The driver has a neat set of analog gauges placed on either side of a 7" display. The air conditioning is managed with nice switches, and there are three circular air vents in the dashboard's center.
There is a mix of soft and hard plastic in the cabin, but the soft plastics are found in all the places that count, so the plastics are not overwhelming.
The front seats are exceptionally comfortable and are both spacious and supportive. There is plenty of headroom both in front and at the back, though the optional sunroof does cut into the headroom in the front.
The trunk is spacious at 396 litres (14 cubic feet) and will easily take the family's luggage.
There is a 7" (in the base model) or 8" touch screen in the middle of the dash, but knobs for tuning, volume, and climate control make it easy to undertake these tasks when wearing gloves.
The infotainment system connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and there is USB access both in front and at the rear seats.
This little car punches above its weight when it comes to safety features, and it is packed full of driver-assist technology. These features include forward-collision control, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Buyers of models above the base model can opt for 360 cameras and adaptive cruise control.
This honest, hard-working sedan packs good looks, great driver aids, and technology into a compact, comfortable package.
You cannot go wrong with the 2022 Nissan Sentra as a solid, reliable daily driver. The Sentra has an excellent range of vehicles, and if you are considering a 2022 Nissan Sentra in Kanata, come in and take a test drive.
