Infotainment & Technology Features
Inside, tech is a major highlight. Across trims you’ll find a 16.8-inch Premium GMC Infotainment System with Google built-in compatibility, offering voice and app integration that helps lessen distractions — especially useful on winter mornings with low visibility in Eastern Ontario. There is also an eTrunk™ under the hood with power-operated hood, along with wireless phone charging, After Dark CoreTec™ interiors, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and heated front-passenger seat as standard or available depending on trim. Elevation has 18-inch machine-face wheels with gloss-black accents, gloss black painted pockets, red illuminated GMC badge, and MultiPro™ Tailgate. AT4 adds more aggressive styling cues: skid-plate styling, red hooks, darker accents, and all-terrain tires. Denali shifts toward luxury with high gloss black or machined large diameter wheels (up to 24-inch-styled), body-colour grille with perimeter lighting, and refined finishes. The available MultiPro™ MidGate expands bed capability to haul longer loads (up to 10×10 bed length when MidGate is lowered, seats removed, etc.), which is very useful for work or outdoor lifestyle needs in Ontario.
Interior Comfort & Cargo Space
Cabin comfort has been elevated, with a roomy Crew Cab layout standard across trims. The rear seats are spacious, with improved materials and sound deadening to reduce wind and road noise — a real plus when winter winds howl along highways near Ottawa or in rural Eastern Ontario. The range is up to about 769 kilometres on a full charge in ideal conditions (Max Range, Denali or AT4 trims), while more mainstream trims like Elevation offer slightly less but still substantive range — useful for long drives between Ottawa and Montreal or Toronto. Charging performance is strong: 800V DC fast charging is available, which enables dramatic range recovery, e.g. adding roughly 160 km in about 10 minutes under ideal fast-charge station conditions. Towing capacity is also considerable, with Max Range and suitable trims able to pull over 12,000 pounds, depending on configuration, which matters for users who need to haul trailers, boats, or work equipment.
Safety & Driver-Assistance Features
Safety tech is packed into all trims. There is standard forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane keeping aids. Availability of Super Cruise™ hands-free driving assistance with a multi-year trial helps on long highway stretches. Four-wheel steer with CrabWalk®, especially in AT4, allows better maneuverability in tight spaces or tricky parking on snowy or icy surfaces. Features like rain-sensing wipers, heated mirrors, and exterior lighting enhancements (LED headlamps, perimeter grille illumination) improve visibility in poor winter weather.
